Welcome back to the castle!
If you are not aware, this castle is widely available at Michael’s craft stores for very inexpensive. I picked one up for even less, because it had been loved up some. If anyone out there is working on one of these now too, please come and find me so we can take this arduous journey together.
My last post was an introduction to all the tediousness that lie ahead. I knew there would be a decent amount of sanding and priming for this project, but I was not prepared for the reality of all those nooks and crannies.
Despite those evil crannies, I’ve managed to get the old paint sanded down some and re-primed for new coloring. I chose a blend of a few blues and topped it off with a glitter mix.
I am excited to start curating what goes where inside this tedious castle. I don’t care too much about scale for this one, since this is more of a creative vision board project.
I’ve got a few rooms planned and some treasures ready to move it, but I want to see the whole in my head before I do something I can’t take back.
Do you have this same castle? What did you do with it?
